JCC Association of North America is the continental leadership organization for the Jewish Community Center Movement, which includes more than 350 JCC, YM-YWHA and camp sites in the United States and Canada. Our mission is to help JCCs serve their communities and inspire Jewish journeys. The advantages of belonging have never been greater. Take advantage of affiliation with JCC Association and all we have to offer.
As the eyes and ears of the JCC Movement, we follow the latest developments and trends, and explore the ways that local JCCs can use this knowledge most effectively. Our staff members fly thousands of miles each year to consult with individual JCCs on board development and marketing, finances and operations, early childhood services, membership and fitness to help JCCs find solutions to the challenges they face. Our research studies, manuals, and best practices guides help JCCs develop their policies and JCC Excellence: The Benchmarking Project has been an invaluable tool for many JCCs.
Our staff professionals travel all across the continent to work closely with JCCs of different sizes to help you serve your communities more effectively. We offer hands-on training on a variety of topics for JCC professionals, both regionally and continentally. We provide ongoing recruitment and placement services for professionals working in JCCs, as well as executive placement, and we administer graduate scholarship programs for students interested in pursuing lifelong careers in Jewish community centers.
We organize annual continental programs, such as the JCC Maccabi Games® and JCC Maccabi ArtsFest®. As your voice at the table, we represent your interests in a variety of arenas throughout North America and Israel, and allow millions of participating members to be heard in meeting rooms across the continent. When important groups want to connect with Jews who may not have other affiliations, they know to come to us.
In numerous ways, we strive to help you do what you’ve pledged to do—build Jewish community and enrich the lives of your members.
