See you in 2012 in New Orleans!
WITH THE RIGHT TOOLS, ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE
Delegates attending the 2010 JCCs of North America Biennial got a big dose of Southern Hospitality along with the tools and vision to move forward in the next decade. The four day convention was jam packed with top speakers who taught us the importance of appreciating our members and staff, and the necessity of listening to the next generation. We received tools to improve our fundraising, and learned about the value of trust. We were entertained and ate well. We visited the Marcus JCC of Atlanta where we were inspired by their Habima Theater and had some down home southern cooking. We were moved by the courage shown in the documentary film An Article of Hope. We were challenged by JCC Association President Allan Finkelstein, to start a thousand Jewish conversations at JCCs to identify "What kind of Jewish lives do people want to lead, and how can we make it possible for them to do so." JCC Board members and staff can download presentations and handouts here.
