Message from Our Chair

Dear Friend:

Who will be walking in the doors of your JCC over the next 100 years? How will they relate to the core Jewish values of your J? Will JCCs successfully navigate the present and future demographic shifts? And how do JCCs build relationships in today’s digital world in a way that engages, inspires and strengthens our communities?

As JCCs of North America enters its second century, we must explore these questions and develop a plan that leads us into tomorrow, our future.

Together, let’s brainstorm, converse and discover how we can best influence, imagine and strengthen the new Jewish community. Join us at the 2018 JCCs of North America Biennial in Memphis, TN.

The Biennial will afford you the opportunity to network with colleagues and friends, new and old, connect with leaders, thinkers, innovators, and doers from across North America and around the world. Together, we will build on the JCC Movement’s past and shape its future.

The Biennial is most effective when you collaborate with a delegation of your JCC’s current, past and future leaders, including emerging leaders who you want as participants in the Esther Leah Ritz Emerging JCC Leaders Institute.

As a Memphian of 22 years, I look forward to “Walking in Memphis” with you next May and sharing new ideas and inspiration along with great music, kosher barbecue, and Southern hospitality, among friends old and new as we shape the future of the JCCsof North America.

Warmly,
